30 % of medicines in circulation in Africa are falsified. To raise awareness of the dangers of medicines being sold outside of official distribution networks, CFAO Healthcare and the OPALS Foundation have co-published a white paper entitled “Securing the medicine distribution network in Africa”.
This work has now been adapted into a motion design to share its key messages with a wider audience.
Available on YouTube, it highlights the following in just a few minutes:
• The state and extent of falsified medicines in Africa
• Lessons learned to facilitate access to quality medicines
• A series of takeaways to strengthen the security of distribution networks.
