On June 4, 2026, more than 2,000 participants from 100 companies gathered at the Domaine de Saint-Cloud in France for the “Course des Héros” (Heroes’ Race), a major sporting and solidarity event supporting charitable associations. For the fifth consecutive year, CFAO teams were at the starting line to support ALIMA – The Alliance for International Medical Action, a partner of the Group since 2021.
ALIMA, a humanitarian health NGO operating in 14 African countries, works to provide medical care to the continent’s most vulnerable populations. Once again this year, CFAO mobilized 87 employees who committed to the race in service of this essential cause.
A proud moment this year: our team— Tom Odena, Gilles Batteur, Laurent Berthier, and Fouad Massous—won the Creativity Prize, awarded for the event’s most original costumes.
Thanks to our employees’ commitment, the funds raised will support the OptiMA program (Optimizing the Management of Acute Malnutrition). Since 2022, their mobilization has made it possible to:
- Provide care for 220 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition
- Train 9,800 mothers in the early detection of malnutrition
This has now become a must-attend event, clearly illustrating our concrete commitment to health in Africa and solidarity.
