CFAO Journée mondiale lutte contre le paludisme

On April 25, World Malaria Day reminded us that this disease remains one of the leading causes of preventable death worldwide, disproportionately affecting the African continent. According to the WHO, in 2024, 95% of cases (265 million) and 95% of deaths (579,000) were recorded in Africa.

As part of the Health by CFAO program, the Group is committed to promoting health and preventing both communicable and non-communicable diseases. This day was a concrete opportunity to reinforce that commitment on the ground.

Our subsidiaries took action: awareness campaigns, medicine distribution, team training… Simple, practical initiatives adapted to local contexts.
